A belated anniversary!!!

So Eric didn’t do anything for anniversary.. it’s a long story that, if you want to hear I’ll tell you some time. Today though it was like we had a belated anniversary. We took ourselves, with some special anniversary money, down town to a great restaurant, Dragon Fish for happy hour sushi. It was just the two of us there. Sitting, people watching and eating some of the best sushi in town. It made for a nice day. After dinner we walked over to Powell’s Bookstore. I love Powell’s, it’s so huge and overwhelming on one had but awesome and great on the other because just about every book known to man. We went and bought books. We hadn’t gotten some new books in FOREVER!.. I’m so excited because I bought every Diane Mott Davidson book. I love her as an author and I love her books. They’re fun, about food and a pretty quick read. I’m so excited. SO now I have 8 of her books to read. WOO HOO. I know I could have borrowed from family but I wanted this collection myself to have. Eric’s got so many books and I need to catch up to him 
LOL….SO if you want to find me, I’m either posting more recipes or better yet, sitting by the warm fire, sipping some great coffee and reading a wonderful book.
