Eric turned 30 this year…. He’s not young anymore….For his birthday dinner we went to PF Chang’s. It was such a wonderful night after an exhausting day for everyone. We had a great time at Chang’s. We need up getting something like 6 different dishes and having a bit of everything. it was so yummy. The best was dessert. We go two of the great wall of chocolate cake desserts. It was awesome, six layers of chocolate cake, a little warm and everything. Tasty.

Happy Birthday Eric!!!

Vacation day 2

Jun 12

Saturday I didn’t do a whole lot, I read my book a lot and finished up the work I was supposed to do for one of my clients (SBA) so that I could enjoy the rest of the day. Eric and I played with Baylee too. She loved it at Bob and Julie’s. She loved all the fields and grass to run in. I caught her several times chasing birds allover the place there. It was too much fun for her.

Houses

Nov 30

Today Eric and I met his parents at Greg and Hollie’s for breakfast. I had an almond croissant?. I love those things and especially from Beaverton bakery. Bob and Julie had stopped and got us all breakfast treats. After breakfast Bob, Julie, Eric and I walked over to the model homes and look in the windows. We couldn’t go in because the place didn’t open until noon. We also look in the houses that we’re thinking about. Bob and Julie talked to us a while about it and gave us great things to think about. At noon Eric and I went back and got the key so we could look in the homes that were done that were the model we liked. At first I thought we’d love the more expensive house, just because but it ended up that we liked the house that was 10K cheaper. After seeing the houses and talking to the broker, etc we signed a promissory note. I couldn’t believe it? we were going to put an offer on a house?..Eric even suggested it before I could get it out of my mouth. We spent the next three hours filling out paperwork and applications, etc. Now it’s the waiting game. I’m hoping it all works out and we can get the house. Not only because I’d love to own a home but because it would be nice to not dump money down and empty hole. Guess we’ll find out soon.

Memories

Nov 09

Eric and I are still in Ellensburg. I took tomorrow off so we could have a good long weekend. Eric’s mom made us all waffles this morning. She’s so nice. Every time we come she makes breakfast and takes care of us. It’s not like we expect it she’s just so nice. I appreciate it so much. I often offer to help clean the dishes and things link that but she takes care of it or we convince the boys to do it. I love Julie.

I love Eric. It’s funny to think that we’ve been together for almost a year and a half. About a year ago we moved into together. How different was that. I remember then being excited and yet and the same time nervous, nervous that I was going to do something to totally screw things up. We’ve had little bumps along the way but I can really say I LOVE ERIC. Every day he does something little that makes me love him even more. He’s so good for me. He keeps me sane and level headed. he brings so much into my life and then to try and put that into words is beyond hard, it’s near impossible. It’s funny, we tell each other alot “I love you” and yet those three words are so small but mean so much. They’ll never capture the degree that I love Eric. OK, I gush too much.

Today Julie and I went to Othello to see my mother and raid her house. I collected all the photographs she’s got and I plan on scanning them all and burning them on CDs. I really want to make sure to capture them all and organize them now so that maybe I can use them in scrapbooks and things. When we were in Othello mom took us to Eagle Creek Lodge, the new lodge on radar hill. Julie had never been there before. It’s got a beautiful view of the area, even better when it’s not overcast. We happened to run into Josh’s friend Gabe. I guess he’s a cook there. When we were done we went back to my mom’s and I started collecting all the photos. What a project. It was sort of cool though I found a bunch of my grade school photos. You know, the ones with the lame background of the clouds, or something like that. She had them for every year. WOW… I even remembered some of the clothes. One of the pictures I had this dress that my mother made me. I was so happy. I had a smile from ear to ear. I really need to copy those pictures and scrapbook them. Won’t that be a HUGE project….
