Ok, my laptop was working fine last night. I had closed the top and left it on all night. No biggie, well I guess my computer didn’t like it because today it was slower than molasses. I finally hit the shut down and let it shut itself off. I went to turn it back on about 30 minutes later and guess what. darn thing doesn’t recognize the operating system. I suppose there’s some way to fix this but me being new to the world of Apple it means another trip to the Apple store. This will be the 4th in about a month. You know I converted to Apple and now I’m wondering why. I’ve been having so many problems, just when I think I’m on a roll something happens with the darn thing. ARGH!!!!

Yeah!!! The Mac… is BACK!!! i got my computer back today and the best part was that they were able to move over EVERYTHING!! SO, I didn’t have to load software on again, didn’t have to do a thing. Yeah Mac people!!!!

It’s official, my wonderful NEW Apple laptop is already in the shop getting a new hard drive. darn thing pisses me off. I’ve been to the Genius Bar four times in the last month with my computer and now, finally they decide they need to replace the hard drive. Argh!!! All that software to put back on, all those settings to have to redo, all those widgets to have to find online and download.. AGAIN. and… the kick… all those pictures to have to tag… AGAIN!!! I’m not mad so much as annoyed. I asked them to please replace the hard drive the first time, and the second time and now, after a fourth time they decide to listen to what I have to say. So I’m on Eric’s computer until then, checking email the old fashioned way, via web mails and hoping like heck I get my computer back before Christmas since they had to order the HD since they didn’t have any 200G in stock…

Sorry I’ve been out for a while. I’ve been busy. Can you believe that? Me, unemployed but keeping busy. For the last week I’ve been helping the local scrapbook store move to their new location so that’s kept me busy. I’m also getting ready for the trip to Arizona and coordinating with my friends while we’re there. Other than that, not a lot going on right now.

Oh, got my new computer about a week and a half ago and have been so happy. I had an issue after I got all my programs, pictures, etc on and the HD needed to be wiped clean so I’ve spent time this week getting everything back on. Finally, that’s done, I think. I’m loving my new computer and got the last of the software i wanted. I was so bummed though because I bought the Adobe PhotoShop Elements for Mac because I loved the program on the PC with the timeline, easy tagging,etc. Well, the Mac version doesn’t even have the same options or GUI so I bought something I don’t even like and probably won’t use. I’m just going to use iPhoto as it’s A LOT easier and better. That’s about the only frustrating thing.

I still have my cough from the cootie sickness I picked up last time I was in Washington. I’m hoping the trip to AZ will dry it out and it will go away. if it’s not gone by the time we get back, I’ll head to to Dr finally and get checked out. It’s just frustrating because Baylee doesn’t like the sound so she runs upstairs when I cough and then at night she sleeps in the other room.

Well, off to clean the house and get ready to leave on Sunday.

I’m posting from my very new NEW computer. I love this MAC. I love the screen. I’m so excited about my new computer. I really want to just sit here today and figure things out, because it’s a little different from my PC but SO much cooler. Unfortunately, I need to go do food shopping for the winery so I guess I’ll have to wait until later today The good thing though is I have all of tonight and tomorrow to get all my stuff moved over. WOO HOO… LOVE IT… LOVE IT…. LOOOOVE IT
